Circlips

Circlips are used to prevent lateral movement. They are used as retaining rings on bearing assemblies and are manufactured using semi-flexible metal ring. These products are in a shape of a circle with a clip and are open from one end.

Constructed as curved beams of uniform strength, the radial width is reduced towards the free ends so that a constantly round shape is maintained throughout continuous use. This form of circlip often used in assemblies subjected to strong centrifugal forces, is also secure against high rotational speeds. Lugs with holes are provided for rapid fitting or removal with circlip pliers.

These are available in 3 Types

Type A - External Type
The most common form of axially fitted circlips for shafts with grooves.

Type B - Internal Type

Type B type internal circlips are used to prevent lateral movement of assembly components in a bore. These products are suitable for most normal engineering applications as these simply act as a rigid shoulder within a bore.

Type E

The most common form of radially fitted circlips for shafts with grooves. Provide a large shoulder on a relatively small shaft diameter. This range can be supplied stacked on rods for use with applicators and dispensers for rapid installation, thus resulting in sharply reduced assembly costs.

Size Selection Guide

Type A - External Circlips
Circlip Size = Shaft Outer Diameter

Type B - Internal Circlips
Circlip Size = Bore Diameter

Type E - E type Circlips
Circlip Size = Shaft Outer Diameter

Key Rods

A key is employed to connect two pieces, like shaft and a gear, in such a way that there is no relative rotational movement between the shaft and the parts mounted on it. Key is always made of steel because it is subjected to shearing and torsional stresses. It is inserted in the axial direction between the shaft and the boss or hub of the mating piece. A keyway is the groove cut in the shaft as well as in the hub, to accommodate the key.

Conveyor Belt Fasteners

Conveyor belt fasteners, are mechanical devices used to join the ends of conveyor belts, providing a strong and durable splice. They offer a cost-effective and easy-to-install solution for joining belts in various applications.

 Applications:

Conveyor belt fasteners are used in a wide range of applications, including:

  • Mining: Joining conveyor belts used in mining operations.
  • Agriculture: Securing belts in agricultural conveyor systems.
  • Parcel Handling: Ensuring efficient operation in parcel handling conveyor systems.
  • Food Services: Securing belts in food processing and handling applications.
  • Other Industries: Used in various industries where conveyor belts are used for material handling.

Bearing Lock Nuts & Washers

Lock nuts are used to locate bearings onto a shaft. Additionally, they can be used to mount bearings with a tapered bore onto tapered shaft seats and adapter sleeves, and to dismount bearings from withdrawal sleeves. Lock nuts are also frequently used to secure gears, belt pulleys and other machine components.

Lock Washers are used in conjunction with Lock washers to lock the Nut in a place and prevent its movement

Coupling Bolts & Sleeves

These are used to join two halves of flexible couplings

Gear Coupling bolts do not have a sleeve whereas flexible bush type couplings have a rubber sleeve to absorb vibrations and allow very small mis alignments
