Oil seals are used to protect shafts and bearings from ingress of dirt and foreign matter and egress of oil or grease. An oil seal generally consists of an outer circular metal part and an inner flexible member that does the actual sealing and is bonded to the metal part by chemical adhesive agents. The sealing member is made of rubber, either synthetic or natural as the case may be. The sealing lip of the flexible member is prepared by cutting away the flash that forms at the sealing edge during molding. A fine sealing edge provides adequate pressure on the shaft to prevent leakage.
A standard oil seal consists of an outer circular metal disk with an inner flexible rubber which is affixed to the metal during vulcanization. The bonded seal has no loose parts to allow leakage of oil or ingress of any contaminants. This kind of seal is more accurate, and can easily be fitted into a smaller space.
Size Selection
Oil Seal are designatesd as [ID x OD x Thk] or [ID-OD-Thk]
Example: An oil seal with inner dia 50mm, outer dia 70mm and thickness 10mm will be designated as 50x70x10 or 50-70-10
Available Sizes
Inner Diameter - 12mm to 160 mm
Outer Diamere - 22mm to 200 mm
Thickness - 7mm/8mm/10mm/12mm/13mm/15mm
An oil level indicator (OLI) is a tool that shows the level of oil, coolant, or hydraulic fluid in a container . OLIs are often mounted on tanks, reservoirs, or containers to allow for visual monitoring from a distance. Some OLIs can also send the level information to controls as an electrical signal.
OLIs can be made from a variety of materials, including aluminum, brass, stainless steel, and technopolymer. They can have a dial with markings for empty, 1/4, 1/2, 3/4, and full. Some OLIs also come with red and green level marker stickers to indicate upper and lower limits.
Available Sizes :
Thread : 1/4" to 1" B.S.P & 10mm to 40mm
Material : Aluminium & Plastic
Anti-vibration mounts, also known as AV mounts, are key components in reducing noise and vibration in heavy machinery and equipment. They absorb vibrations and sound from machines to minimise wear and damage. Anti-vibration rubber mounts are a low-cost, highly-effective component with a range of different uses.
Round type mounts are designed to keep machinery level when placed on uneven or sloped ground. Round Mounts are typically used on presses and punching machines, lathes, grinding machines and milling machines, and on very heavy machinery. Round type mounts allow machinery to be levelled when installed on uneven ground. Adjustable rubber feet have a range of applications and can add grip when used on hard surfaces or industrial settings.
Cushy foot Mounts are well suited for machines requiring vibration damping in both compression and shear. An anti skid plate is provide in the base of the mount to prevent machine walking. These mounts can also be anchored to the floor through the holes provided in the base for machines producing high unbalance forces.
